Hi there! I’m Jenn Shepherd — welcome!
 

I’ve been part of the Unity in Edinboro community since 2014, and I’ve had the honor of serving as Spiritual Leader since 2017. It’s been an incredible journey of connection, growth, and shared spiritual exploration.
 

A little about me…

I’ve always been passionate about understanding the deeper threads that connect us — through history, spirituality, and education. I earned my B.A. in History from Penn State Behrend, where I focused on religious studies and the history of religions. I also joined ministry studies and received my secondary teaching certification from Mercyhurst College.
 

Before stepping fully into ministry, I spent over a decade teaching secondary history and science. Those years were filled with curiosity, laughter, and the joy of helping young minds discover the world around them. And I haven’t stopped teaching — I’m still actively involved in leading classes and workshops on spirituality, healing, and personal growth. Teaching continues to be one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey.
 

Today, my heart is fully in spiritual leadership. At Unity in Edinboro, we strive to meet people exactly where they are — creating a space where every voice matters and every heart is heard.
 

In 2014, I co-founded Bolts of Love, a program that’s especially close to my heart. It’s designed to bridge the gap between traditional churchgoers and those who identify as “spiritual but not religious.” It’s all about inclusion, healing, and empowerment — values I hold deeply.
 

My passions and path have led me to explore many areas of spiritual growth, including Integral Studies, New Thought, Spiritualism, and progressive Christianity. I’m certified in QiGong, QiGong Healing, Grief Education and Movement, Reiki and Spiritual Healing, Integral Ministry, and Quantum Living. 
 

I stay actively involved in the broader spiritual community as a member of Sophia through the InnerQuest Foundation, co-administrator of the Mediumship Reading Room, and as a teacher of spirituality, healing, and mediumship. I’m a lifelong learner and love bringing that energy into everything we do at Unity.
