About the event
Becoming by Michelle Obama was chosen as the foundation for this study because it mirrors the very journey this series invites us into — a journey of grounding, voice, courage, connection, and continual transformation. In her memoir, Obama reflects with honesty and grace on the experiences that shaped her: her family roots, the discovery of her voice, the tension between ambition and expectation, the power of relationships, the call to purposeful service, the resilience required in seasons of transition, and the balance between public life and inner grounding.
Each week of Becoming Together moves with these themes, offering space to explore how our own stories unfold in similar ways.
